Hi there, I'm a CNM looking to open a solo birth practice doing 2 home births and 2 hospital births per month in Staunton, VA. I have a consulting and collaborative relationship with a physician group locally. My goal is to open January 2021, with the first birth happening in May or after. Please contact me if you're interested in a 2-3 year apprenticeship. Your role would be to start out being my birth assistant and then moving through the phases of training gaining more responsibilities up to primary midwife under supervision. Hi all, I'm currently in Oakland and all world cat libraries are closed with the mandate here. These are some of the book I was accessing in those libraries. 1. Tatro, David. Drug Interaction Facts.Ivey, Allen. Intentional interviewing and counseling: facilitating client development in a multicultural societyWeaver, Pam & Evans, Sharon K. 2. Practical Skills Guide for Midwifery
3. Oxom-Foote. Human Labor and Birth.
4. Lammi-Keefe. Handbook of Nutrition in Pregnancy.
5. Johnson & Taylor. Skills for Midwifery Practice
6. Hale, Thomas. Medications and Mother's Milk sending love and strength to all, Diana
I don't have time right now to list them all but I have a signifiant midwifery library with multiple copies of some midwifery textbooks. I am happy to loan them out locally. Please email me if you want to borrow a book and I'll see if I have it. (There are three of these metal racks in that closet filled with books!)
