We are passing along the following scholarship opportunity from The United Health Foundation.

The United Health Foundation is again supporting student clinicians with the Health Care Scholars United program, which has begun accepting applications for fall 2026.

To apply, students must:  

• Be pursuing a certification or degree in a clinical health career.  

• Be enrolled as of November 2026 as a full- or part-time undergraduate or graduate student in an accredited in-person or virtual program in the United States.  

• Be on track to graduate by August 31, 2027. 

• Be a U.S. citizen, U.S. national, or lawful permanent resident. 

• Demonstrate financial need. 

Up to 325 scholarships of $3,200 each will be awarded. 

Employees of UnitedHealth Group, UnitedHealthcare, Optum, or an organization acquired by UnitedHealth Group, and their immediate family members are not eligible for this scholarship. Current physicians who are seeking additional certificates or degrees are not eligible for this scholarship. Previous United Health Foundation scholarship recipients are also not eligible.
