In the next five years, the California Nurse-Midwives Foundation aims to invest in projects that align with the following goals:

Goal 1: Diversify the midwifery workforce by supporting people to become midwives (with a focus on BIPOC and LGBTQ+ people)
Goal 2: Ensure access to high-quality, culturally concordant midwifery care through institutional and systems change
Goal 3: Strengthen the profession of midwifery in California"
