Wenatchee Midwife Service & Childbirth Center is hiring. We are looking for a Staff Midwife to join our practice of 2 on call midwives and 1 senior midwife (not attending births) doing approximately 7-8 births a month. Our freestanding birth center is located in beautiful Central Washington and has been serving the Greater Wenatchee Valley since 1985. We provide both birth center and home births to a diverse clientele in a close-knit community and have developed an amazing collaborative relationship with our local hospital and medical community. Midwives are well-respected in our area. The ideal applicant would be a Licensed Midwife or Certified Nurse Midwife desiring to make a long-term commitment to our team. Preference will be given to candidates who are eligible to be NARM preceptors. We offer a flexible call schedule, vacation time, and access to our breathtaking landscape and all the recreation this region has to offer (think mountain biking, hiking, kayaking, skiing, rock climbing, wine tasting, etc.) The start date for employment would be sometime between October 2021 and January 2022.
