Student Steps to Access Curriculum, Syllabi, and Paperwork
Access as an Observer
NCM remains committed to making our educational material available to the community. For 29 years we have provided this service for free as a commitment to birth justice. Over the years we have worked tirelessly to provide affordable education to direct entry midwifery students but the reality is that costs have risen and we can no longer afford to offer this service at a loss; moving forward NCM will be charging non-enrolled students $80 per year to access our ASM/BSM courses. 100% of this fee goes into our scholarship fund. For more information on how to become an "Observer" visit this page.
Tips Using NCM's Online Resource
Once you are registered for a course you will begin at the top of the page with the topic entitled "START HERE" and follow the instructions.
One great new feature is that the home page of each course divides the curriculum into suggested blocks of learning and assignments to complete each week throughout the trimester to stay on track with getting academic work done.
You will complete your assignments through our distance learning program with professors provided by NCM (with the exception of one BSM course). Assignments are submitted online. The Online Learning Coordinators (professors) will be providing a variety of teaching methods from recorded zoom instruction, assigned reading, case studies, discussions etc.
